Meet Josh

For more than 25 years, Josh has worked at the intersection of fundraising strategy, advancement operations, and organizational effectiveness. His experience spans major gifts, campaigns, prospect development, moves management, and advancement operations, with a particular focus on the systems that help nonprofit teams turn fundraising priorities into consistent action.

Josh's particular strength is connecting frontline fundraising strategy with the infrastructure behind it. He helps organizations clarify priorities, strengthen pipelines, improve visibility and decision-making, and build practical processes that fit their people and capacity. His approach is collaborative and grounded in a simple principle: better systems should make fundraising easier to execute, not harder.

Throughout his career, Josh has worked across environmental conservation, education, healthcare, architecture, public policy, and social impact. He brings a combination of strategic judgment, operational discipline, and facilitation to complex work, helping leaders create alignment, navigate change, and keep important priorities moving.

Josh earned a B.A. in History from Washington College and an M.P.A. in Policy and Management from American University's School of Public Affairs.  He is active in the Annapolis community and previously served on the Arundel Rivers Federation’s Watershed Advisory Committee. He also serves as a volunteer project lead with the Taproot Foundation’s Human in the Loop program, helping explore how nonprofits can strengthen fundraising systems and thoughtfully integrate AI into their work.

Josh lives in Annapolis with his family and rescue beagle, Scout. Outside of work, he enjoys time outdoors, gathering with friends and family, and tackling home renovation projects.
